March 14th Stacey took me for a walk around the neighborhood around 1:00pm. She told me I walked really nice and was proud of me. I socialized with many dogs today. Toby was my favorite. He is very handsome and smart. He is my new BFF. We played keep away and he is really good at it. I ate lunch at 2:00pm, 2 cups of dry food with 1 cup hamburger meat and I ate it all gone. The other dogs were jealous. Stacey worked on obedience commands at 3:00 and then I got to play some more. At 4:00pm a little girl came over with a rabbit (a real one!) I couldn’t take my eyes off it. I HATE those beady little eyes looking at me. When she put it down I barked at it and that hurt. Stacey told me to leave it alone but I HAD to bark again, and ouch it hurt again. After a few minutes I decided to listen to Stacey, and it was much better. I learned that if I “stay calm” that I could actually get close to the rabbit. Turns out he was a really nice rabbit. Stacey told me that I can meet another rabbit too on Tuesday. But honestly, if it has those beady little eyes, I might have to test my barking theory again.
